Herb & Rose Shampoo Bar

Smells wonderful, makes my scalp and hair feel great! This is the only shampoo I buy now.

I have bought this shampoo bar twice now and it makes my hair feel SO nice. I love that there's no plastic packaging, it's smells divine, and its lasted me a couple months washing my hair 2-3 times a week (i keep it on a soap saver after use). I have fine straight hair but a lot of it - this doesn't weight it down at all and it also doesn't strip it and make it frizzy or feel like straw. I can use this bar without conditioner and my hair is still SO SO soft.

I have used 2x so far. I like that it is easy to lather up versus other organic shampoo bars I have used.
Love the smell. I feel like my hair is cleaner longer.

From the moment the scent hit my nose and I felt the lather on my hands I knew that this was it. This is the be all end all of shampoo bars. I have dreads, it is harder for me to evaluate how "clean" my hair is, but my scalp feels and dreadlocks felt so moisturized after just one use. It creates a beautiful foaming lather so easily and it is so easy to scrub not only my scalp, but my dreadlocks as well. (Other shampoo bars I have used do not foam enough and it takes a lot to get the lather throughout my hair & scalp)

And this scent, oh my goddess. This scent is so balanced, the rose hits followed by this wildly beautiful bright herbaceous smell. I need this scent as a perfume, please. This is the scent I dream of when I think of myself hidden in my little cottage in the forest (that I only own in my dreams!).

I finally got my hands on the Herb and Rose shampoo bar and couldn't be more pleased! My hair felt cleaner and softer after one wash and looks shinier, healthier, and happier after two weeks of use. The floral and herbal elements to the scent are carefully balanced and the golden shimmer over the shell imprint is the cherry on top for me. Extra bonus: this is PERFECT for travel! Cutting off a small piece for a weekend out of town allowed for much more space in a toiletry bag than travel shampoo bottles AND is waste free!

I waited to review until I had used the whole bar up completely, and... It's wonderful! I have very thick, curly, textured, long hair. It's always very dry. I used this shampoo bar twice a week, and conditioner afterwards. (I also use conditioner on the other days, but not shampoo). My hair smells great, it's not weighed down, greasy, or heavy. It's actually a lot less dry now that I'm not shampooing every day. The smell really is my favorite part. It lasted about 2 months for me. I used it as directed in the product description. The only negatives: it's usually out of stock anytime I have a little extra spending $. I think I might prefer it without the big chunks of plant material in it, personally. I like that for skin products where it's like an exfoliant, but not for my long hair. Other than that, I loved this product and definitely hope to get another once they're back in stock!

I've been looking for a shampoo that would make my hair squeeky clean and this is it! Living with well water can be a challenge when it is full of an overabundance of minerals and this shampoo keeps my hair from being weighted down with them. I use it once a week for this purpose.

This was not good for my hair type. It smelled great , but left a waxy feeling on my hair. I have fine to medium course hair, and this just was not for me.

I have a sensitive scalp and bleach damaged hair, I have been testing out a bunch of shampoo bars and this is my favorite ever! It’s beautiful, smells great and cleans my hair without leaving a weird film on it. Doesn’t dry my hair and my natural wave pattern is coming back. Highly recommend!

I've never used a shampoo bar before so I wasn't sure what to expect but I am happy with the purchase! The smell is wonderful, much more herbal then rose. It also lathers really well. I had heard that is can be hard to get shampoo bars to sud but it didn't seem that hard with this bar. I'm still getting used to the texture difference. Bars seem to leave a waxed texture to my hair, which has made styling easier but can also make it look flat. Right now, I'm still using liquid shampoo and conditioner about once a month if I need to strip a lot of product. Still my goal was to lower the amount of plastic I'm using and this bar has some serious lasting time to it!

I have already turned so many of my friends on to this product after everyone asks what I use for my curly hair and how my hair always smells so good. I will definitely continue to use this shampoo bar!

This bar of soap is like a work of art. Gorgeous! It works into a nice lather for cleansing and also leaves hair feeling soft.

I really like how well this bar shampoo + conditioner lathers and my hair is truly squeaky clean after using it! My only slight issue is my hair feels quite dry and staticky after using—I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and it is not colored at all. Originally I was worried it would be too heavy or potentially oily for my fine hair, but that is not the case at all. I would suggest using a separate conditioner along with this or a heavier leave in conditioner once you’re out of the shower. Overall I love the smell and using a solid shampoo, just trying to figure out how to have less static after using it.

I received the Home Cleaning Duo as an alternative to liquid dish detergent & produce wash. I hated the wasteful & possibly toxic impact plastic bottles & chemical ingredients had on our environment, so needless to say I was eager to try these products. The process takes a little adjustment, but overall highly satisfied with the quality ingredients & zero-waste packaging. Will definitely order again in the future!

Suds up really well and you can’t beat the smell. I love knowing that my shampoo is so sustainable!

i’ve been looking for the perfect shampoo bar for years, so long that i decided to stop looking and let one find me. i’m so happy this one did. i’ve only used it once and it made my hair feel amazing. so soft and hydrated and clean. smells subtle and fresh. it feels so luxurious. i could tell my boyfriend used it when he got out of the shower today, his curly hair felt softer than usual, even wet. the only downside other than it being limited edition is the color of it does run quite a bit so i do have to be careful. hardly a problem for how great it is to use and after effects. also unlike a lot of shampoo bars i’ve tried it lathers like a dream, even in cool water. i’m so grateful this is the shampoo/conditioner i’ve been looking for. love that it truly is a 2 in 1. i use it every 5-7 days for my wavy fine hair and it’s perfect. naturally dried as if i used products and a diffuser. please keep this product around!

This product is wonderful. It cleans thoroughly and gently, and has a fabulous fragrance. Cuts down on plastic use also. I would include this item in a gift basket.

The shampoo & conditioner bar smells heavenly and I love how it makes my hair feel soft and shiny. I have white hair, and was therefore concerned (at first) about the bright orange color left on my hands after using it!! But. . .it rinsed out beautifully! 💕

I haven't tried it yet. Saving for when i go to college. Cant wait to use it.

I really love this bar. Just clean ingredients. I love the lather and scent . I just comb my hair well first before using and that helps with tangles . I will definitely keep buying . Thanks for an amazing product

I have fine hair and this shampoo bar helps immensely with my routine. My hair either gets very fluffy like a Leo lion mane, or it looks like I have 5 hairs because they flatten, like the way I drew long hair on humans as a child. But this lovely bar helps keep it fluffy, yet never dry and brittle. The scent is one of my favorites, and as I am taking baths it wafts around whether I’m using it or not, which I love.

This item is not one that I would order again. I like the smell and it cleans well but I did not like the red residue in my shower. If you could remove the dye, I think it would be better - thanks!!

I love the lather from this bar shampoo, then the fragrance hits, and a deep breath starts washing away stress as well as leaving my hair feeling clean and healthy. I will sometimes us a little conditioner after the soap, but more often just the soap. I appreciate not adding another plastic bottle to the land fill.

I love this shampoo bar. 1) It's beautiful. 2) It smells nice. Both of those things make me excited about shampooing my hair. I'm like, "Yay! I'm gonna see that lovely shampoo bar, and my hair is about to smell fantastic!!" I would say the white thyme is the more prominent scent, which is a nice herb-earthy smell, but both scents are there and fragrant, together it's reminiscent of being in a garden. 3) It builds an incredible lather, which I've never had another shampoo bar do. It's on par with using liquid shampoo in that respect. 4) No ill effects to my hair or scalp from using it. I have naturally wavy hair, some shampoo bars have caused my hair to look flat and listless, caused tangles at my hair ends, or a "halo" of frizzy hairs floating above the rest of my hair. Not with this one! My hair looks shiny, healthy, full of volume, & my scalp doesn't itch. I can run my fingers through my hair without having the ends catch in little knots (which seems like a miracle). I'm only bummed out that it's limited edition?? I assume that's because roses are seasonal, & if that's the case I think it'd be cool if shampoo bars were a constant, but the scent changed based on what's in season. Thank you!!
