Demeter: Massage and Body Lotion Bar

Kind of heavy in that it takes some elbow grease to actually get it absorbed in your skin. I love the smell!

I like the smell but it’s a bit sticky and takes a while to be absorbed . The bar was smaller than expected for the price.definitely moisturizing.

The scent is amazing and the product is not greasy at all, rubs right into the skin. I honestly think I'm going to love this the more I use it

Absolutely loved it. Scent is kind of a neutral earthy/sweet, the orange note isn’t overpowering. My favorite part is the lotion itself though, it is amazingly hydrating and lasts for well over 12 hours. I do a full-body lotion every day and I’d estimate that this bar will last me at least a month, if not more, so while it is a bit expensive it’s well worth the price in my opinion, especially given the lack of plastic waste!

I could not dislike this more. Hard to use, greasy when applied, dries down sticky. Not for me.

I’ve used this a few times now. It’s so moisturizing and nourishing. It’s perfect for my dry skin. It is a little greasy but I don’t mind at all. I use it before bed, or my partner uses it to massage my aches and it is perfect for that.

Works like a dream and smells absolutely amazing! Very happy with this purchase and I'll be buying it again in the future.

I have been searching forever for an orange lotion bar like this. When I was a kid, I went to a Christkindl market and bought this amazing smelling orange lotion bar. Sadly, the market closed and I was never able to find the lotion bar again, so when I saw this orange lotion bar, I got so excited. Needless to say, not only does this bar smell better because of the chocolate notes, it also lasts so long. I fell asleep with it on for over eight hours and woke up still smelling like it. After a couple of hours, it smells more like a wonderful spice shop/bakery instead of orange chocolate (which I honestly love so much). It of course is also so hydrating and stays on for so long. I also love that the scent is well balanced, being not too strong and not too weak. Right now I see that there are only a few left and I really hope that they continue to make more because this is seriously one of my favorite smells.

My skin stays nourished and soft all day. I was a little surprised at first at the strong chocolate fragrance, it smells like a Christmas chocolate orange. The chocolate smell dissapates pretty quickly and the overall fragrance layers nicely with the solid perfumes.

I have been lax in applying body lotion because I always feel like it never completely dries. My skin has gotten drier over the years, so I am thankful I tried this lotion bar! I feel I can control the coverage and that it soaks into my skin quickly. The scent from the natural ingredients is soothing to me. I am in love with this product! Thank you for saving my flaking skin!

I was delighted that this lotion bar only gets soft when it comes in contact with one's body heat (well, other heats would melt it too). But it is easy to store in a cool place and utilize on the body when needed!

I am in love with this bar lotion! It doesn't leave a greasy film on you that will rub off, The scent is delicious. I haven't used my regular lotion since I got Demeter. Definitely something to be tried.

My hands get really dry and cracked in the winter. I was delighted to see that Sea Witch now stocks a lotion bar, especially since I was out of lotion when I ordered. I patiently waited and was not disappointed. It's not greasy and it rubs in really well. I recommend slathering it in your hands and then covering your hands with socks or gloves, going to sleep, and waking up with renewed hands. It works like a charm.

The scent of the Demeter lotion bar is really pleasant and herbal, and the moisture is really perfect for healing my dry winter skin. This is my first experience using a lotion bar and I’m hooked!

I’ve tried other solid lotion bars and they were ok. Some felt too oily and didn’t absorb well into the skin. This one feels so moisturizing and the smell is great! Maybe it’s just me but I can smell more of the carrot than the orange, but I still like it. Please make a vanilla one!

My spouse has skin that hates him. Psoriasis, excema, rashes--his skin makes him crazy with itching and burning. We spend hundreds of dollars each year trying new lotions and oils, but I think the search is over. He's talking about this lotion bar like a teenager in love.

This took a minute to get used to, the bar literally starts getting slippery in your hands as the cocoa butter melts. Be prepared for that, and the rest is easy. It smells AMAZING. I rub it into my hands and then with the little excess that remains I moisturize my face. It is easy to use, and my skin feels great and stays moisturized for hours afterwards. I would recommend giving it a dedicated soap dish to keep it from contaminants.

It is very soothing on my dry, itchy winter skin and smells so lovely!
