Two Swiss sisters infused the first batch of absinthe in the 1700s, and it didn’t take long before the beguiling beverage took the European art world by storm. Known as The Green Fairy for its singular, herbaceous hue, absinthe grew so popular in Paris that by the 19th century, five o’clock became known as l’heure verte - the green hour.
Now you can make any hour The Green Hour with a bar of sweet and spicy, cold-processed Green Fairy soap. Drink in her flirtatious spirit by lathering up in some truly sultry-smelling suds! Just beware you may lose track of time, or shed your ego and forget it somewhere.
This listing is for approx. 5oz of cold process absinthe-scented soap. Store your soap in a dish with good drainage to enjoy it for weeks in the shower, or even months as a hand soap.

I love this soap! It's very softening, almost as much as Frith (my fave from this shop), and the scent is nice and strong in the shower but only slight after rinsing it off so it doesn't interfere with anything else you wear, I've found. It does have some throw sitting in the bathroom, which I love. If you're into star anise/the scent of licorice, you'll love this! Frith is still top for me, but I'll probably repurchase this as a father's day present for my licorice-obsessed dad.

I have officially fallen in love with this scent but it took awhile. I loved the soap the instant I tried it. I've never owned soap of such high quality. The color is gorgeous. The scent wasnt my favorite at first but it grew on me. Now I love it. The customer service is excellent with this company. I will be a lifelong customer!

These are the best! My first Sea Witch lip balm was lavender peppermint- so good that I had to try more. I just bought several to gift to my friends and everyone loved them- merlot tint, burnt coral tint, star anise too! Lip treats!!!
